How do I know what size bed I need?
The best way to determine what size would be right for your dog is to measure your pet. The easiest way to do this is to wait until they are asleep – most dogs sleep in the same position day after day - so if you measure your pet when they are asleep you will get the most accurate measurements. If your pet "curls up", measure from the shoulder to the butt. If they sleep in a stretched out position, measure from the nose to butt. Dogs that stretch out are happiest on a rectangle shape bed. Dogs that curl up are happiest on a smaller square shape or one of the sidewall-style bed.

How do I care for my wool pet bed?
All of our beds are machine washable. The cover should be turned inside out to prevent pilling and/or fading, and washed in COLD water (not higher than 30°), set to "gentle, delicate or wool cycle". All beds should be line dried or laid flat on a drying rack. Our waxed-cotton fabric is also machine washable, but you should use ONLY cold water (not higher than 30°) on gentle/delicate cycle with mild detergent and then hang dry out of the sun. DO NOT dry your pet bed cover in the dryer.

What's With All The Fuzzies?
Our Heritage Series blanket wool bed covers are sewn from lovely Irish blanket wool – which is "brushed" in finishing. For the first few days, much like wool carpet or any similar wool blanket, your pet's bed will seemingly "shed" the loose fibers ("fuzzies"). But don't panic – after a few days the fabric will settle down and shedding will end. Loose fiber easily hoovers up, and your pet will be delighted with his/her new sleep slumberdom.

What's the difference between waxed-cotton canvas and regular cotton canvas?
Waxed-cotton canvas is very commonly used in the sporting industry as a durable, waterproof outdoor fabric. Its "waxed" finish beads water and makes it extremely durable. Our waxed-cotton canvas is what is commonly called a "dry-finish" – designed to be durable and tough indoors and out – while remaining flexible and soft as well as machine washable.

What should I do if my bed arrived damaged?
It happens. Those delivery conveyor belts can, and will, occasionally smoosh the box we have shipped your bed in. Contact us immediately and we will help you get a return and replacement underway. Damaged packages must be reported immediately to qualify for a return claim.

What happens if I want to change my order after it has been placed?
If you ordered a bed from us, but wish to change your order - try contacting us online using our contact form. However, most products ship same day so it might be too late. IF we can catch the order, we will be happy to accommodate your request. You can always return the bed and order a different one. As long as you do it within 30 days of your receipt.

How long will it take to get my bed?
If in stock, your bed will usually ship the next business day. Because of the package size, all of our beds are shipped via courier service or An Post within Ireland and most frequently via An Post or DHL courier to countries outside of Ireland – including the UK, EU and USA. You should expect it to take between 2 to 5 business days shipping time depending on your location. Due to the carton size, we simply do not offer express shipping. How do I pay for my bed?
The following payment methods are available: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal and Gift Card. Sorry, we are unable to accept cash, checks or credit vouchers.

Import Duty/Taxes?

All prices shown are inclusive of required Irish VAT. VAT will be calculated and charged at checkout. If you are shipping to an address outside of the EU, please note that you are responsible for any import duties and clearance fees (if applicable) in your country. We recommend that you ask local authorities about these duties and clearance fees in advance.

Payment for products and delivery services are made in EUR. Checkout via PayPal will allow payment in your local currency. All prices shown on the website for both products and delivery services include the required Irish VAT.

If you are ordering from the United States, there is no import duty on purchases of €800 or less. Local taxes in your state might apply, please check with local authorities. Appropriate customs forms will ship with your products.

Is my order subject to duty payments and customs?
All orders dispatched outside the EU may be subject to import taxes, fees, levies or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation. If you are ordering from the United States, there is no import duty on purchases of €800 or less. Local taxes in your state might apply, please check with local authorities. Appropriate customs forms will ship with your products. Import into the USA is a very simple process. However, if you prefer, you can purchase your product from our USA partner – www.dawg-tired.com

The recipient of the products is responsible for all customs formalities for their export and import and will be required to pay any additional charges, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges. The recipient of the goods, not the person who ordered them, will receive a separate request for payment of these charges.

If you're ordering products to be delivered to someone else, please make sure they're aware they will be responsible for any additional charges. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, so we're unable to offer any assistance on these processes. We'd advise that you check the import charges applicable in any country before ordering products to be delivered there.

How do I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, we will email you a shipping confirmation and an order tracking number.
